Goal setting + OLW for 2014

Do you pick a word for the year?  (here is my original post about OLW) Last year, my word was BREATHE and boy, I hung onto my word throughout the year for the first time since I started doing OLW.  So for the past couple of weeks, I’ve been on a quest to find another word that resonates with me.  And I think this year my word will be GROW.

I swear I made a digital list of my 2013 goals but I can’t find it. Haha. So much for that. And while I didn’t do AMAZINGLY well with them, I figure it was a good start and definitely want to try it again, hopefully with a little more success.

So here’s my goals for 2014:

1) Stick to my laundry schedule – it’s been almost a month with my new machines and I’m still loving it!! (Wash Wed, Fri, Sun)
2) Continue my house-wide organize and purge until we have more storage space than stuff.  It seems like a neverending battle but I am determined to get there.
3) Garden!  We definitely need to finish fencing in the garden and then restarting it.  I miss having cucumbers, zucchini, green onion, and especially my poor rosemary, among others.

1) Get them to school on time! Mornings in this house are rough, not gonna lie! We’re still trying to figure out something that works for all of us.
2) Find some extracurriculars they LOVE. Sports, art, music, dance… just need to find something.

1) Once a month date night is a MUST. I definitely love alone time with the hubs and it’s something I’d like to be able to enjoy more than 2x a year, which is our current date night schedule.
2) Work on our fitness and start eating healthy again.

1) Maintain blog schedule! Keep up regular postings and series-eses postings.

  • Sundays – Christmas Card Sundays: Christmas card every Sunday.
  • Thursdays – Scrap it Thursdays: Scrapbook page every Thursday.

2) Keep up with my DT work.  I absolutely LOVE the teams I’m on right now.
3) Move blog to accommodate landing page and store!!
4) Start working through my yarn stash.  I think I have enough yarn to knit our whole family winter wear like we lived on the mainland.

The Bizzzzzzzness
1) Online store! ‘Nuff said!
2) Increase classes! I love my current students and always want to be able to accommodate them and put them first but I’d also love to increase my class sizes and do more classes.
