I surprised myself too!!

I totally haven’t done this in a loooooong time… I made 3 pages last month but none of them were blog-worthy IMHO. I just wanted to get something done and ended up with pages of nothing.

Just 2 simple pages today… I used my 2011 Pagemaps calendar, June and November’s sketches to be exact. These are the first two pages I scrapped of my dogs, simply because I had these two pictures printed out… still waiting on that HUGE order with our Disney pictures, and hopefully it’ll be here by early next week.

So here’s Peace:

I needed the title to stand out more so I ended up outlining the letters…

And here’s Star:

I originally had different PP picked out for this layout and even started cutting the cardstock when I changed my mind… I hate when that happens… but I’m so much happier with this. I wanted stars to sit at the top corner but found that I do NOT have a star punch that’s larger than about 1/2″… so I freehand drew and cut these stars out and popped them up with foam squares.

That pretty much does it for me today… I kinda stalled out at 66 cards… only 34 more to go! Hoping to make a huge dent in that number before the picture order gets here because I tend to have a one-track mind and once I start scrapping I might not want to make any more cards!!

I love your scrap layouts. WOW!!! Those pictures are fabulous! And the papers and designs of the layout show them off to perfections. I really think it’s amazing how much it adds to outline the letters on the Peace page. Such a clever idea! And stars were a must on Star’s page. 😉 Love that you handcut them, it gives them character. Perfect job!!!
