This fortnight, the challenge over at Crafting with Dragonflies is #13 – create a card with nature/trees/leaves on them. It’s a free challeng, meaning the DT is free to work with whatever they want and not limited to using sponsor images. I love it!! I built a tree out of butterfly punches… I remember seeing this in a magazine somewhere – sorry I’m not giving the proper credit because it’s been that long and I forget!!
I also wanted to keep it simple – I ‘hung’ a heart off the tree and I figure that’s enough of a sentiment in itself.
Come play with us at Crafting with Dragonflies! This is an easy challenge… I love it!

What a cool idea to use your butterfly punch this way, love how your different greens add such dimension to your tree. And your little heart is the perfect sentiment!

Great card and a lovely tree, very clever way to make a tree, blessings Hilde
What imagination you had creating this tree – just a fabulous idea and looks it too. Love the different colours and especially the hanging heart – a perfect finish.
This is such an original idea. If I may I would like to share it with my crafters here in Cyprus. I love the cute heart too. Hugs Wynn xx

Such a clever idea Kel – the butterfly punch really came into its own! Love your outside-the-box approach.
Such a clever idea Kelli! I love making things out of something else, and to use a butterfly punch to make a tree is a really unusual idea. Love the CAS feel to this card, and it will be so useful for lots of purposes. Hugs, Judith xx
That is fantastic. I love your creativity.
