First off, I just wanted to share that it’s Little A’s birthday today, whoo-hoo!!! My little man turns 8 today… I can’t believe how time flies!
Today’s my reveal day as part of the Double Page Layout team over at Stick it Down!
The sketch we got to play with this month is:
And here’s my take on it:
I had a LOT of fun with my circle cutter for this one!!! haha. At first when I saw all the circles in the sketch I though of water/bubbles. But lazy bones that I am hasn’t actually printed pictures since JAN 2014. OOPS!!!! Can you believe it?!? I am trying ridiculously hard to use up the thousands (you heard me, THOUSANDS) of pictures I have printed from the past couple years. And I know, my poor Baby Z. He doesn’t have a single scrapbook page done. I will get to it, I promise!!
Anywhoo, back to the layout… I matched up a lot of papers from the random, color-coded portion of my stash. Why? Because I don’t have a SINGLE soccer thing! haha!! My kids aren’t exactly sporty so I haven’t had a need to be stocked up on it! The soccer ball is a die I got to use from a wonderful (super organized!) new friend I made at a recent crop. It’s been FOREVER since I’ve been to one so I’m so glad to have found such a nice group of gals, even though it’s so far away from me!!! Just about the opposite end of the island from me!!
Hope you’re having a wonderful week! We’re heading out for Little A’s birthday dinner!!
lovies, =o) kel
Love all the photos and your take on the sketch is just the right thing.
I love your take on the sketch- the DP you used to accent your page is so perfect- it really brings attention to the pictures. Feeling inspired to try to make a few pages, maybe I will!!!
Kel, this is great! Oh how I wish I could scrapbook but sadly have never even attempted it! Great layout and I love the way everything just flows. So many memories and something to treasure always. Happy belated birthday to that cute little guy too!
