Hurricane Hopping (lol!) w/Beth Duff Designs

Hello and thank you for joining us for the Beth Duff Designs August blog hop! We are happy to have you hopping along with us! Our team and guest designers have created some amazing projects to share with you. Hop along to get some BDD inspiration. You should have come here from Mary Kayʻs blog but never fear! I have the full hop list at the bottom of this post!

These are some cards that I made for the new release but never shared. Yikes!! And as much as I wanted to make something new for this hop, we’re under hurricane watch right now so I’m typing up this post in advance and busy getting my home and family ready for the coming storm… not enough time to craft, I tell you! Here’s what the hurricane looks like right now, which for me is late Wednesday night. You see where it says “Honolulu”… I’m kinda right between the O and the L which is definitely still within the hurricane’s range! And it keeps changing as it’s just a prediction, so no real guarantee it’ll stay on this track. Wish me (and the rest of my state!) luck!!!

Okay now onto the good stuff… haha!! Here’s some coloring I did for the 2 stamp sets I was lucky enough to work with. This is So Sweet from the Beth Duff Designs Shop. Such a super cute lemonade stand. LOVE it.

And I know I already shared the Adventures Abroad – Hawaii set with you, but here it is again because it’s so cute! And again, don’t mind the misspelling of the Queen’s name. It’s been addressed and fixed!

Here’s 2 projects I made with the So Sweet set. The first is a shaker card! I fussy cut out that shaker window and then stuch some super adorable and super fun colored sequins in there. I also stamped a strip using the sliced citrus stamp, and then popped up some lemons on top of it!

The 2nd project I made using the So Sweet set was a set of tags. I used the lemon and cut lemon stamps to make a background, and then stamped out the “so sweet” sentiment in a matching color. Love how this one came out too!!

And here’s my 2nd project using the Hawaii set. I used this sweet surfer girl and the “aloha” sentiment to make a simple monochrome card. I know, I know, it’s not a true monochrome card because she’s a different color, but the rest of it is all blue so I think it kinda counts lol! I also added a strip of bubbles using the bubble stamp that comes with the set… so easy to create such a fun background!!

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to continue hopping on down the line! Sending you off to see what Tania has been up to!
