OMG I Made a Layout!! w/Jaded Blossom

Now if you’re here from the Jaded Blossom Blog you’re in the right place, if you’re just passing through start at the beginning because you don’t want to miss a thing.  I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

Here is what I made:
First off, let me just say that OMG I SCRAPBOOKED!!!!! haha! It’s literally been YEARS… like at least 3 years since I’ve scrapbooked a traditional layout and although it took me forever to finish it, I had SO MUCH FUN doing it!! And yes, that’s part of the reason this is from 2014… but also because this might be the last year my kids have dressed up in costume. Baby Z is still game, but the older two are not!!

I used Card Layer Dies 1, Border Dies, Paper Bag Die, Halloween Scenic Dies, Alphabet Dies, Halloween Tags Stamp Set, Bewitchy Stamp Set, Let’s Be Frank Stamp Set. Phew that was a mouthful lol!! Can you spot them all??

I actually cut the letters from the Alphabet Dies from the green/purple and also the orange so I could back them like a shadow and have them stand out more on the black/grey background paper… and do you know how long it took me to find this paper? I have like 30lbs of Halloween patterned paper alone and went through every single sheet in order to find the one I wanted to use! haha!!! I also added some random star stickers from a Halloween line that coordinated nicely with the colors of my letters!

Here I used the Paper Bag Die to make this journaling pocket. I cut down a piece of paper to fit inside the pocket (3″ wide by 4.25″ tall) and then trimmed off the top with a scallop border from the Border Dies, stamping one of the sentiments from the Let’s be Frank Stamp Set. Then I offset the Trick or Treat sentiment from the Halloween Tags set on the Paper Bag. I initially was going to center it on the Paper Bag but didn’t want to block so much of that cute paper. Improvisation. lol.

The last thing I did was add some extra little detail in the top corner with these cuties!! Images from the Let’s Be Frank and Bewitchy Stamp Sets, colored with Copics. Behind them I added some wide fishtail banners from the Card Layer Dies 1, and then the wood fence from the Halloween Scenic Dies
