Christmas Cards w/Kinda Cute

Hello friends! Sharing some Christmas cards using some digis I colored up last month from the Kinda Cute by Patricia shop! I was on such a time crunch trying to get everything done before we left for our Japan trip that I only managed to color them… And now I finally found time to get them made into cards and posted!!

Woo-hoo! 3 cards done for 2018 already… let’s see if I can keep ahead of the game this year!! And to try to keep myself on track, I’m aiming to make 12 Christmas cards per month, which x11 months (since January has come and gone already!) means I’ll have made more than the 125 I usually send out every year. Not sure if I can make another NINE by the end of the month, but I’ll try!!

Gnomies w/WD

I’m blogging over at Whimsie Doodles today!! And I have been ITCHING to use this digi. SUUUUUUPER digging gnomes recently.

These fun buddies are Gnomies towards the bottom half of the Christmas digis page. So cute.

I colored them up with my Copics and then matched them to this scrap paper I had in a super old DCWV Glitter stack. Perfect match!!

Hope everyone’s staying warm wherever you are, and happy winter! I graduated yesterday with my BA in History, so I’m super stoked to celebrate this winter with no more homework!! haha! Well, at least until I start grad school in the fall!! See you again soon!!

Winter Color Challenge w/WD

He is just adorable. Sometimes, I wish we had snow here in Hawaii so my kids could experience the snow. But then I remember how miserable people get during the cold winters and am fine in my sunshine, humidity and heat!! lol.

It’s time for a new Lemon Shortbread Challenge!! All of our challenges are Anything Goes and any image is welcome!! I got to play with “Snowman and Son” and they can be found in the Lemon Shortbread Etsy Store.

Such a cute pair. The dad’s hat was so much fun because of all the lights!! I tried to keep this color palette masculine and it came out kind of dark… but I think it works!! haha.

Winter Joy w/WD

It’s new release time over at Whimsie Doodles!! This is “Joy Tiles” on the New Release page… one of three absolutely adorable new winter digis!!

I paired it with some paper from a 6×6 pad (Authentique – Cozy) and some scrap paper. I just love this paper!! And that snowman is just adorable… I absolutely love all Whimisie Doodle digis!!!!

I am sharing a quick card I made today for Sassy Studio Designs Progressive Challenge in their Facebook Group. Love these progressive challenges! And how could I not like this dude???

I used Mojo Monday sketch #298 for this card. And I used all scraps for this one too!! Yay me!!

That’s it for me today… I am thoroughly wiped out from Christmas Day… and I even had a nice afternoon nap too!! This Christmas just flew by completely but I’m so glad that it’s over with and I have the rest of my kids’ winter break to enjoy!!

Today’s my DT day over at Whimsie Doodles! It’s my first solo post… how exciting!!

For today’s card, I’m using all FOUR wonderful images from the Santa & Friends set (in the middle of the “What’s New” page) because I couldn’t decide which one to use! lol.

Christmas Card Sunday 11/23

Happy Sunday!! This week’s Christmas Card Sunday features my absolute favorite wintery icon… a snowman! With no snow here in Hawaii (at least where I live) it’s fun to play with snowflake and snowman images. I’m sure those of you who are frozen in the snow don’t necessarily feel the same way as I do about these frosty friends!!

I used a sketch (surprise, surprise!) from The Deconstructed Sketch #2 for this card. Here’s the sketch:

Christmas Card Sunday

This week, Christmas Card Sunday features some embossing. Hey, it’s a big deal for me to break out the Big Shot!! haha!!

Here’s the deets:
Every Sunday I’m hoping to post a new/different Christmas card. The rule: No buying stuff to make these cards! I have to use what’s already in my stash or leftovers from other projects – I can buy Christmas stuff for a scrapbook layout or mini album and whatnot but I can’t buy something specifically to make a card for Christmas Card Sunday!

Whoo-hoo for snowmen! My absolute favorite!
